Flowers Mug

This mug has some of the best beauty of what a soda-fired piece can have. The transition where the soda hit it in the kiln creates a wonderful showing of the organic flow. The flowers are filled with a red underglaze and covered with a Clear glaze. The designs pressed into the outside are filled with a turquoise underglaze that can turn yellow when it with soda. The inside of this B-clay mug is lined with a Soda Blue Black glaze. The mug is 5.25” wide by 4.25” high, and holds about 24 oz.
